Dogs: They aren't people. So why do people continue to treat them like babies or friends? I love my dogs, and they are like family to me, but they aren't my kids, and they are not things that can talk to me. I don't like seeing little puppies in purses, or being carried around like they are three year old kids. I ESPECIALLY hate it when people dress up their pets. There is a woman in my neighborhood who dresses up her poodles. The dogs are HUGE and the woman is so small (only around 4'3) and they wear GIANT matching bright blue ponchos (all of them; owner included). They dogs also, wear tiny shoes, and hats. ON DOGS. But that isn't even the best part; the woman introduces them as her kids, and she named them Molly and Henry. They eat what she eats, goes where she goes, and they all walk together. They even look a little alike, because of their matching grey hair and the perms and all...
